Sports massage is the combination of classical massage, to the needs of an active exerciser. Massage and passive stretching accelerate recovery, relieve muscle and membrane tension, and increase muscle flexibility and joint mobility.

what to do before and after getting a classical or sports massage:

Before:

  • Drink plenty of water
  • Don’t apply any oily or heavy lotions that won’t easily absorb in to the skin
  • Don’t do any overly exhausting exercises

After:

  • Drink plenty of water
  • Relax, whilst your muscles are still relaxed from massage
